I am looking for an intern ASAP!

You MUST be either attending school right now or have attended design school at some point (no offense to those of you who are just starting out in fashion--this is a very technical job). I'll take whatever hours you can give me!!! Oh yeah, and you must live in NYC.

I just need help with order fulfillment and organization. This means:

answering e-mails
organizing orders
shipping orders
trips to the factory
cutting
organizing patterns

You know, stuff like that! I am totally swamped at the moment and going out of town on the 21st, so I need an extra set of hands immediately! If you're interested, please send me a note with some qualifications and tell me why you'd like to intern with a small fashion company.

Spider and Pumpkin's Halloween party pics!

My friends Sherri and Pat (aka Spider and Pumpkin) hosted a bad-ass costume party on Saturday, complete with candy corn. Here are some pictures!

Here I am in a cab on the way there...Ryan farted, which was the most heinous thing ever, and then the driver sprayed this toxic strawberry air-freshener which was actually WAY worse. hahahahaha

this is me and Sherri. She is "Burnt Siena" and I'm a Software Pirate.

Holly is a female mechanic and we both LOVE pizza!

that's Jaime in the middle (she works at Vogue now!) dressed as Edie...her boyfriend was dressed as Andy Warhol and the resemblance was kind of scary. like, terrifying actually.

Mary was "Miss Montrose", which was hilarious but I think her faux-gold giant hoop earrings were making her ears infected. Her boyfriend Ned was a bag of trash...perfect.

LVHRD Master Disaster III Fashion Duel pictures!

Here's a picture of me and Alison DOMINATING at lvhrd's third annual Master Disaster Fashion Duel last night at Caravan Boutique in Soho. We were asked to create a "dress for a Presidential Ball" entirely out of tin foil, with gaffers tape, hot pink yarn, and a few sewing needles as our tools. We chose not to use the yarn, since it didn't seem appropriate for a gown...this picture was taken about halfway through (don't worry, we covered the tape!). We were competing against Erin Isakov of Erin Snow and her assistant Abby. In the end three judges, one each from Jane magazine, Black Book, and Womens Wear Daily, decided that our dress was the standout winner. Feels so good to win, doesn't it?! weeee!
